I absolutely love Dilly's. It's a fun experience that I haven't had since I was a child. The atmosphere is fun and filled with fresh air. It gets busy so you have to be sure to mark your territory when you get a picnic table! The location is prime territory, right in New Hope and just across the bridge from jersey. The food is delicious, it's a great reminder of good summer food that's tried and true. Burgers are juicy and fresh. Onion rings are crispy and done well. Fries are perfect! Service is well above average, they're kind and go above and beyond to make your experience memorable! Clientele is mostly locals and some tourists, all looking for the fresh grub that Dilly's is known for. 10/10 recommend to everyone!

Another great find while biking along the D&R and Delaware Canal towpaths, we discovered Dilly's while crossing over at Stockton Bridge. Apparently, this casual burger and ice cream joint is a long-standing institution in New Hope. All I know is I had one of the best banana milkshakes! Their ice cream and sundaes are fantastic too! The burgers and onion rings are great and reasonably priced. The cheeseburger was two bucks. If you're looking for something slightly healthier, they offer a grilled chicken burger and a veggie burger--at higher price points ($6 - $8). Those are tasty. Although the line was dauntingly long, it moved very quickly. I think it took less than five minutes to get our meals. At any rate, place your order at the line to the far right. You'll be given a playing card after paying for it. Head over to the window to the left and wait for your number/suit to be called. We were a big group, so a couple of us snagged a large picnic table in the shaded area and refilled our water bottles at the drinking fountain while the rest waited for our orders. It's well worth a visit if you're in the Stockton/New Hope area and looking for ice cream or a quick bite at reasonable prices.

Dilly's is a local must-visit. The food is good, the ice cream desserts great, and you can walk on the bridge and enjoy the river. When it is crowded, relax and enjoy your company. The wait is worth it.

Good ole fashioned burger and ice cream stand. It's not a summer without a visit here. Surprisingly lots to offer for a small storefront. Great burgers, onion rings and shakes. It's a delight.

Looking for an idyllic spot with a flowing river, rolling hills, narrow roads, and a romantic bridge all in view? Do you believe that burgers, hot dogs, fries and rich creamy shakes taste better when sitting at a picnic table in the shade with family and strangers on a hot summer day? If you resemble these remarks, Dilly's Corner is waiting for you.

The best chili dogs! I'm not certain what they use, but there is a sweetness to the all beef chili that reminds me slightly of sloppy joes, but better! Plus they are VERY generous with the servings on the hot dogs. Totally worth a taste!

Cool little place in a scenic spot along the river.. Menu is basically burgers, chicken, sandwiches and sides. Food is good. Service is friendly. Picnic tables for a place to sit. Can get very crowded. Parking can be a problem.

I stopped for the ice cream, excellent. So good you'll come back and make the trip. Just a stop on river road going north from new hope, at center bridge. Enjoy, we did. Oh Utah, they have good too.... Yum.

This is a Local spot where lots of motorcyclists also like to frequent. It's an order, wait for your name to be called, sit down at a picnic table and enjoy type of place. Their prices are decent. Their burger and hot dogs are average. Their soft serve is good.

This is a really cute place - worth the drive, just for the restaurant. You will not get a gourmet burger here, but everything is tasty and prepared fresh, and it's definitely a local treasure. Located along the Delaware on the north side of New Hope (approaching Lumberville), you'll find this cute restaurant where River Road and Upper York Road intersect. It's just across the bridge from Stockton, NJ. Staff is friendly and efficient and it's really decent roadside grub. Loved the onion rings!

I went here with hopeful expectations because of the reviews but I must say it fell way short. Maybe people around here just not used to good food. The staff was not friendly at all unless they knew you... They were actually kind of weird. The ice cream was very very very bland and the food was all greasy and disgusting. I would never return here again. It looks like either local people who go there daily or people who didn't know any better coming off of tubing trips. There wasn't one redeeming thing about this place except maybe that it looked old fashioned. D-

I stumbled upon Dilly's on my way to go tubing down the Delaware river and at first glance Dilly's was everything I wanted. A nice hometown family oriented corner restaurant that served the classic burgers and fries type food (and had a hilarious name). It was in a great location, right next to a very nice view on the bridge and easily accessible from wherever you were coming from on the road. I had very high hopes for Dilly's but they were immediately crushed when I took my first bite of the food. The grilled chicken sandwich I got tasted like it was molded out clay. If I closed my eyes and took a bite I don't think I could have identified what I was eating. My friend got the chicken finger sandwich which was essentially 2 chicken fingers sloppily hanging off of a soggy hamburger bun that fell apart after about 2 bites. My boyfriend got grilled cheese and curly fries which were not bad but are also nearly impossible to mess up. We stopped back later that day after tubing to give Dilly's one more chance and to try what looked like amazing soft serve. We saw people eating it earlier and we thought that the ice cream could be Dilly's saving grace. We were sadly mistaken again when we tried what tasted like luke warm marshmallow fluff combined with Twinkie filling. We turned the 6 inch tall soft serve upside down and it stayed completely still and not a single sprinkle fell off. Fool me once, shame on Dilly's. Fool me twice, shame on me. Steer clear of this corner stop for anything other than curly fries.

Great ice cream! This is a wonderful little place along the Delaware canal. We usually are just stopping for an ice cream treat.

Typical ice cream and burger spot, long lines in the summer season. This is very much a tourist spot that as a local we avoid it on the weekends. Prices are reasonable.

Great roadside stop. Food is simple and ice cream has a lot of toppings. Weekends are packed but service is fast. We enjoy eating outside during the summer.

I go to high school nearby and during exams we stop by to get fries and milkshakes. There's something very homey about eating here. The staff are always happy. I have eaten here since I was a little girl. I always go to Solebury orchards after to pick up fruit.

Love coming here after football practice with the kids... awesome outside seating so the kids can make a mess and the food is GOOD. I always get the Dilly burger, but you MUST tell them to go light on the mayo, if not you may drop right there due to clogged arteries and personally, it seems to take over the flavor too much. Had the fried shrimp last night, and was not impressed. Really, the 5 stars is due to the setting and the community. We always end of Bullshitting with another family with kids or an older couple who admire my kids.... It's just nice to live in a community like Solebury and Dilly's is an institution.... Also, when you order they give you a playing card an call your order by calling i.e. 9 of spades... my kids love it!! And Ice cream!!!

I came here after a long day on the Delaware River at a suggestion of a friend who was with us (I've passed this place before, but was never inclined to stop), and it definitely hit the spot. It's not a fancy place, but the price is right and HUGE portions of tasty food (Dilly Cheeseburger especially). I bet what I'd ordered would cost $20 at some trendy main-street New Hope place. When in doubt, definitely order a size down. I was starving, but would never be able to finish that much normally. The 'small' ice cream cone I had (delicious) was more than enough. Cash-only is kind of a pain (although I did come prepared), especially since I didn't see an ATM available (this would definitely have been a good convenience for those without, and would make the owner some $$ as well). The wait for food was a little long, but what are you going to do, it was a nice day.

In November, Dillys closes for season but is resurrected as Dillys Done Different (Thu-Sun). The owner reinvents the place from burgers, fries and dogs to fine dining. Amazing transition! Equally amazing food. With all the competition in the area it`s as good as any. A must try. Difficult not to ask for a dipped soft-served for dessert though... habit.

Fresh fast food. Nice little spot past New Hope. There are fried options and there are healthy options. We love coming here for a quick meal on the run.

I can see where Dilly's Corner is trying to go. My issues with the restaurant are burger bread bun choice and serving size. The Dilly burgers are served on a kaiser (crispy on outside) bun which is possibly the worst bread to put a burger between. A good burger bun should be crispy/toasted on the burger facing side and soft/untoasted on the outside. Secondly, the burgers (and fries, onion rings, milkshakes, etc.) portions are too massive. Nobody healthy can reasonably finish these portions unless they wish to be or are already fat. Apart from the bread choice and the huge serving size (I am an over 6' adult and would have craved a ''child size" version, half or 1/3 what was served) the ingredients seemed good. But, what a huge meal. What waste and excess. If you go order 1 Dilly's portion of whatever you would like to share between 2 or 3.

Sigh. What happened to my childhood favorite place, where we used to walk to after school or playing in the river? This place has turned into a big, fat tourist trap where everyone claims to love the "locals" vibe but its really just a long line of weekend gawkers from the city. But I will always have a soft spot in my heart for the Black Bean Burger with the sesame dressing and a root beer float.

I would love to admit that I stumbled upon this place. I was pre-warned of it's delicious food and I had to seek it out! It's just a little shack selling hot dogs and burgers and FRIES! The line is sometimes long but totally worth the wait. I always get their Dilly Dog which is really just an Italian Dog. So yummy! Love it! Go here! You won't be disappointed! Price = Good Food = AMAZING!

Let's begin with the fact that the food is fine. But when you go to Dilly's it isn't necessarily about the food, it's about the atmosphere and the vibe (okay fine, maybe it's a little bit about the chocolate/vanilla twist cone and a roadside hot dog). It's the ideal location if you love to people watch. From locals to tourists, it's a feast for the mind and the eyes. I gave Dilly's 4 stars for the experience. It's waiting in a long line, knowing they are raking it in hand over fist (note, they only accept cash), it's the symplicity of food options, it's sitting outside amongst the throws of people who are all eating the same thing, it's the bikers, it's the Dilly's mascot (a sweet, gentle dog) roaming the property looking for an ear scratching and a handout or a dropped fry, it's not gourmet but it's good fun. Be prepared to wait, but be prepared for a great time at Dilly's.

I've eaten here many, many times over the years but never wrote a review. Dilly's gets 4 stars, not for the food but for the location, fun experience and Ice cream - all rolled in to one place. Good fries, great Dilly Dog but very average hot dogs and plain burgers. They have some interesting items on the menu that you don't find at most drive-ins (Talapia???). Very good soft ice cream and frozen yogurt Great place to go on a nice day! Bring cash.

I am obsessed!!!!! Went here this past weekend for the first time. Had a dilly burger ( sort of like a ridiculously good whopper ) fries and onion rings we all shared. This burger was literally the best thing I ever ate. Sides were excellent. Totally cool people watching spot. You gotta go. I'm gonna have dreams about the burger.

Why are people queuing for Dilly's? It must be for childhood nostalgia, because it can't be for the fried chicken, hamburgers or the french fries that all taste like they came out of a freezer bag. I'll concede that my black & white malt shake was very good, but certainly not reason enough to pull the car off the road. Furthermore, the fact that Dilly's is cash only, in the arsehole of nowhere and lacks an ATM is not only a ridiculously bad business move, it's just plain annoying. They were also out of mustard, which is a little bit silly for a hotdog vendor.

Awesome Dilly Dog (huge hot dog with french fries, onions, peppers etc) and outrageous Chicken 'N Chips (chicken fingers and french fries). Right over the bridge from Stockton, NJ

Dilly's Corner is a Bucks County institution. At the base of the Stockton Bridge, it is a favorite watering hall for all the bikers riding River Road. Burgers, hot dogs, fires, onion rings, and shakes are about all they serve, and everything is top quality. The Dilly Dog is a unique concoction consisting of a 1/4 lb hot dog, cooked onions, peppers, and french fries. Service is really fast and the atm0shphere at the place is like a carnival. Recommended.

I went here the other night (not knowing it was "Dilly's Done Different") and walked in with my boyfriend to get something for dinner. The owner was extremely rude, we walked in the door and he looked at us like we had ten eyes. We were extremely confused by why he would be giving us such a strange look and asked if he could help us? We replied what anyone would say when asked when walking into a restaurant.."we were looking to get a table for dinner?" He still seemed confused and answered, "oh, no..this is Dilly's Done Different, we serve more upscale dinners, sorry kids, we will be serving burgers again in March." First of all, sorry, we are not children, we are both in our mid 20's & second, did we even once mention we were coming for burgers?? I don't think so. And he shut the door behind us not even allowing us for a response. So in conclusion, we will never give this guy business, and no, we most definitely will not be back for burgers in March.

This review is based soley on the hot dogs. Best hot dogs ever, they grill them and deep fry them. Never skimp on bacon and cheese either. Worth a drive once and a while, and you don't have to go into the heart of new hope either. yes!

This place was perfect for the mood of the day. Very nostalgic and in a perfect setting. A little pricey but you are paying more for the atmosphere than the food. The onion rings are a must have. People waiting in line offered to buy mine from me. I didn't take them up on their offer and I am sooo glad I didn't. Chili dog was OK, I would have preferred the sauce be a little spicier. If you have pets. This is a great place to bring the critters along for the ride. They had several outside and comfy seating areas.

The Dilly Dog is my favorite fast food - big dog, lots of fried onions and peppers mixed with french fries. It's run by a bunch of young people who are very cheerful and quick with the order. You can see into the kitchen and it's pretty clean considering the number of people who they serve. Don't bother with the regular hot dog. The fries are great. I agree with Alice L. - it would be better with fresh hamburger. But it's a fun place - with a great crowd to watch and plenty to do and see nearby.

4 stars for the nostalgia factor. Mom & Dad would take us kids to Dilly's for burgers and soft serve ice cream in the summer. What fun!

Dilly's Corner is a bit of nostalgia. The drive in, walk up window, picnic benches. There are far better places to eat in New Hope but if you are spending the day on the canal riding your bike or just going for a walk, Dilly's hits the spot. I had both a burger and hot dog and the burger comes recommended, the dog not so much. The burger well done and had a bit of crunch to it, just the way I like it. What was a nice added touch was that they toast the buns. The hot dog tasted like it was cooked on one of those rollers that remind me of the snack bar during my little league days or the 7-11, nothing special to me at all. I also enjoyed my black and white milkshake. So if your spending the day outside of New Hope, taking a ride in the country side or walking the towpath, then its definitely worth the stop, but I wouldn't make a special trip out of New Hope to eat here.
